Hello Brothers and Sisters:

In April we completed 5 MAD Live Events. We praise God for 5 salvations besides equipping 300 people to begin sharing their faith in Christ as a lifestyle. I also had the privilege of sharing the Gospel one evening at our church’s Food Pantry, and at the Sulphur Springs Middle School before the start of school one day. God also opened the doors for me to speak at the Welsh Neck Baptist Association meeting in Hartsville, SC, and I preached the morning service message at the Faith Community Church in Easton, PA. It was a busy month.

Here is an encouraging testimony that I received after last month’s MAD Live Event in South Carolina:

"Don,I can't put into words how much your conference helped me this past Sunday at Kellytown Baptist church. I have grown up in a Christian home my entire life, went to a Christian school and always went to church. I never heard of someone preach on evangelism like you did. The way you put it out there so bluntly was what i needed. I feel a lot of pastors sugar coat what is means to be a follower of Christ. It's hard in today's world. I admit I have not shared the gospel with anyone lately and I should have. Thank you for explaining how you can approach it in different ways. The Lord is surely working in you to let everyone know about the gospel!”

PRAYER REQUESTS

- SCHEDULE- thank you so much for praying. God has graciously answered our prayers and gave us a great schedule for the first 4 months of this year. The fall is filling slowly, but our summer schedule is barren. For the first time in 10 years, we will be going about 13 weeks without a MAD Live Event. After June 3rd, we don’t have another Event on the calendar until September 8th! This again is a testament as to how hard it is to get churches to schedule an event. It seems to get more difficult by the week. Please continue to pray about bookings and help us if you can.
If the summer months continue to be lean training-wise, I plan on spending some of those weekends on the trails doing the off-road ministry.

- We have been blessed to have a Sister in the Lord translate our MAD Live Event into Spanish. We are in need of someone to present the MAD Live Event in Spanish speaking churches. Would you pray for God to bring us someone who could do this as we seek to expand the ministry? The person should have what I call the “3 P’s”: They must be “Practicing” it every day, they must be “Passionate” about it, and they must be able to “Professionally present” the material.

- Healing – On April 27thI had the stem cell injection in my left knee. I am praying this will cure the ongoing knee issue once and for all. Rest easy…they are amniotic, not embryonic stem cells.

- Last year I taught 49 events in 7 states. With all of the traveling we do, I have been praying for God to lay it on someone’s heart to donate a new or almost new RV for us to use in ministry. This would also be used so we can stay at the off-road parks and not have to drive back and forth every day, saving 5 hours of travel per day. It would be great if God would provide this tool before the summer begins so we can use it for the off-road ministry. All we need is one with a bathroom/shower, kitchen, and sleeping area. Would you also pray about this? It’s a big request, but we have a BIGGER God. Thanks!
